After the fluke win over the Giants, a game in which the visitor gave up six turnovers and still appeared to be the better ...
Will you look at this:

Virginia Tech versus Alabama.
LSU versus TCU.
Georgia at Clemson.

Here's a football axiom, college or pro, sandlot or frat ball: Quarterbacks can either run or pass well. They can't do both ...
We were flipping through some games over the weekend and stopped on what we thought was the Purdue game.
But we thought Purdue was a better team.
The quarterback appeared to be spiking or grounding the football, not passing. The defense barely knew which way to aim, as the foe went through it with ease.
Then we wondered: What is Purdue doing in Lincoln, Nebr.?
It wasn't Purdue. It was the Nebraska Cornhuskers! Wearing black uniform tops. Nebraska has always had one of football's greatest uniforms, the iconic red and white jersey, rich with tradition. Freaky uniforms of the week are fine for teams needing publicity, they work for new kids on the gridiron. But your Notre Dames, your Oklahomas, your Bamas, your Nebraskas, you don't change your uniform.
Unless your program is fast approaching a chaotic state.
And it is obvious that hothead coach Bo Pelini is in the process of turning Nebraska into just another freak.
Outside of lucking onto Vincy Young, Mack Brown has done nothing at Texas. USC will be fortunate to win half its games. And now Nebraska, competing in the lousy Big Ten, looks like Purdue.
Nothing makes Bob Stoops look better than the coaches at these three lame monsters. These three coaches prove in frightening detail that there is much, much worse out there. So come on, Medium Game, get us another co-conference title. Get us an Alamo Bowl trophy. Go Sooners. Beat K-State, etc. It's more than those other three can do.
