Is Eddie Lacy the only back worth a pick?
Absolutely ...
No one thought Adrian Peterson was going to be 100 percent, much less get 9 yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson’s single ...
We not only have the latest signings, but also what this could mean for you and your draft.
We at Fantasy World will have our first draft next Friday at noon. Picks to be posted later that day.
Here is the latest and what it means to you:
DeSean Jackson ends holdout with Eagles: The Eagles are this year's Cowboys. Everyone is picking them for the Super Bowl. Everyone keeps forgetting that the Packers are the same team and the Falcons are better. Jackson is the No. 1 wideout on this team until we get more clarification on what's wrong with Jeremy Maclin, who's not been practicing.
Ricky Williams signs with Ravens: It's Ray Rice's job with a great new fullback, so don't worry about Ricky coming to town.
Jahvid Best secures No. 1 spot: Rookie RB Mikel Leshoure was on every sleeper list, but now he's out of the season with a Achilles tear. Best was hurt most of last season, but he's now cleared for takeoff this year fully healthy and with no real competition.
The Patriot Way keeps working: When teams in the AFC wonder why the Patriots keep winning, they need to understand something. It means something to guys who have all the talent and no motivation when a three-time Super Bowl winning coach says: "Everyone will forget the bad stuff when you win a Super Bowl ring but only if you give me everything you have." No wonder he's been able to get so much out of bad boys. He has their respect because he knows how to win. He's quietly built one of the best defense in the league with a couple draft picks. I see three Pro Bowlers coming out of his shopping trip this offseason.
Willis McGahee to the Broncos: I like this move because I am not a believe in Knowshon Moreno. The new coach is going to run a lot with this offense and McGahee can be an every down back. Moreno is going to catch a lot of balls, but he doesn't have what it takes to be a big-time rusher. McGahee is this year's Brandon Lloyd.
Braylon Edwards to the 49ers: Guess they have an open spot on the practice squad. He shouldn't be drafted.
