I SEE MOVIES FOR FREE
There's a reason that the Eagles were the opening-night act for both Tulsa's BOK Center and the Ford Center in Oklahoma City: ...
'As I Lay Dying,' a film based on the William Faulkner novel and featuring James Franco and Tulsa native Tim Blake Nelson, ...
You asked for it, Tulsa, and the Admiral Twin Drive-in is delivering: On May 23, you can kick off the Memorial Day holiday ...
Did you see our large photo of "The Avengers" in Friday's Scene section, an image six columns wide of Iron Man and Thor and their friends in world-protection mode?
More to the point: Did you look at that photo on Friday's Scene cover closely and notice something a little unusual? Maybe you did if you're a big fan of Marvel Comics.
James Royal, the Tulsa World's chief newsroom designer, is such a fan. He had more than a little fun designing that page and with that photo.
Did you notice the two Easter eggs that he added to the photo? (Answers below - Don't scroll down!)

As I noted in my Avengers fun facts column, the first issue of "The Avengers" comic book included the original lineup of Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Ant-Man and Wasp.
If you look closely, perhaps you can see both Ant-Man and Wasp in the photo, but obviously quite smaller than Hulk, Black Widow and the others.
After you have perused the picture, look at the same image below, but which has the two additional superheroes circled. No peeking!
Have fun with it, just like you will when you see "The Avengers," a fantastic start to the summer movie season.
