FANTASY WORLD
As an OSU grad, it hurt to see the news about Justin Blackmon. Maybe the Jaguars will put in place similar restrictions the ...
A couple thoughts with fantasy drafts just four months away.
Is Eddie Lacy the only back worth a pick?
Absolutely ...
No one thought Adrian Peterson was going to be 100 percent, much less get 9 yards away from breaking Eric Dickerson’s single ...
Fred Jackson can't win. He is one of the top fantasy runners last season until he breaks his leg. This season? He hurts his knee in the first game and CJ Spiller comes in and runs for 292 yards and three touchdowns in two games.
The Raiders made Reggie Bush lead Sunday's games in total fantasy points. Remember, Bush ended last season as a hot running back. The Dolphins aren't that good and won't score 30 points often, but Bush is getting more than 20 carries a game in the last five games.
Robert Griffin III is no fluke. Last week and this week, he's been the second highest scoring fantasy quarterback after Sunday's games. He needs to start for your team or you need to sell high. Trent Richardson looked good in his second start, but he will need to do a lot to catch up to RG3 is doing on the field to earn that rookie of the year award.
Eli Manning threw the ball for 510 yards. Sam Bradford threw for 310. Brandon Weeden even had 322. Take note of the teams they blew out. There is a lot of bad defenses this year and you are going to be able to take advantage of the matchups with bye weeks just around the corner.
Antonio Gates and the Chargers frustrated the fantasy world by not declaring him inactive until the noon games started, therefore locking out many fantasy team owners from being able to replace him in their lineup. Then backup tight end Dante Rosario scored three touchdowns. I think it's safe to say what every Gates owner is going to do this week. The old man can't be trusted.
Pick this guy up:
Daryl Richardson, Rams RB: After Steven Jackson got an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty early on, he never got back on the field. Richardson came on and ran 15 times for 83 yards and scored the 2-point conversion to win the game. Doesn't matter if Jackson was benched or he had an injury to his groin, either way it looks like this team might have a new guy to feed the ball.
