Foolish Things Coffee Co., a new coffee house, opened this week in downtown Tulsa at 1001 S. Main St.
Owners Katie and Justin Carpenter offer fine coffees, pastries, sandwiches and salads.
The building, located on the southeast corner of 10th and Main streets, formerly housed a kitchen design and remodeling business.
Justin Carpenter said the building is owned by the First United Methodist Church, where the Carpenters are members. He said the coffee house space is leased from the church, and the other half of the building space will be used for the church's college ministry.
Foolish Things is open 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. The phone number is 918-724-2474.
