Larissa Ponomarenko spent only a year with Tulsa Ballet, as a guest artist during the 1992-93 season, but she made an indelible impression on those who had the opportunity to see her dance.
Ponomarenko went on to become a principal dancer with Boston Ballet. She retired from performing at the end of last season, and is now that company's ballet master.
