Former Tulsa rocker SAFETYSUIT is this week's "New and Noteworthy" debut on iTunes. Its EP, "Hallelujah," is available now.

The former Oral Roberts University college band topped the iTunes music charts with its last album release last year. "These Times," hit No. 1 spot on both the New Albums and Pop charts.

SAFETYSUIT kicked off their new independent label Arena Complex Records with "Hallelujah," and includes new versions of tracks that appeared on the hit album "These Times" and their debut album, "Life Left to Go."

The band also is readying headline tour that runs Sept. 7th-Oct. 5.

The EP contains new versions of “Let Go (acoustic)” and “Never Stop (Wedding Version)” off of "These Times"; “Anywhere But Here (Orchestral Version)” off of "Life Left To Go"; and a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah.”

SAFETYSUIT originally paired with former Tulsan and ORU grad (and OneRepublic frontman) Ryan Tedder to produce the hit tune "Let Go."

Frontman Doug Brown is a 2004 ORU grad. Tate Cunningham, drummer, graduated in 2003. Bassist Jeremy Henshaw and guitarist Dave Garofalo attended the school for two years, according a story posted to the official ORU website.

The group formed in 2002 and moved to Nashville in 2004.
