The Tigers will be working on the school’s baseball diamond because installation of a new turf for the football stadium has not been completed, head coach James Singleton said.
Singleton is hopeful the change won’t curtail the excitement of kicking off preseason drills.

High school drills have always started on the second Tuesday in August, but the OSSAA is adding an extra conditioning day to the calendar this season.
Teams may begin work Monday, but practice in full pads still may not start until Friday of the first week.
