TULSA TO DO
All but one of this week's picks for things to do in Tulsa are free. And, that one exception? It's just $7 for an Irish dinner. ...
You're not going to run out of things to do this weekend. It will be easy to keep yourself, and the kids, busy with happenings ...
A friend told me he had thought more about Woody Guthrie in the last few days than he had his whole life.
It's no wonder. ...
It's free. It's for families. It's happening tonight at the Schusterman-Benson Library.
Oklahoma author Tammi Sauer will give a book talk and sign copies of her books at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. After the presentation, families can stay for a pizza party and one-on-one talk with Sauer.
TYPros is co-sponsoring this event for Sauer, a popular children's book author who lives in Edmond with her husband and two children.
Sauer's books include "Mostly Monsterly" which was featured on the "Today" show and won the 2011 Oklahoma Book Award, "Cowboy Camp" and "Chicken Dance." Her newest book, "Mr. Duck Means Business" is about a territorial duck who gets his feathers ruffled when other animals disrupt his pond.
When: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday
Where: Schusterman-Benson Library, 3333 E. 32nd Place
Cost: Free
