Robin Robert's bone marrow transplant is happening Thursday.
The co-host of "Good Morning America," who is on medical leave, revealed the news in her blog Tuesday.
"Last Sunday to lift my spirits I threw a little party at my apartment for my 'GMA' family. The next morning I walked through the hospital doors, with my guardian angels - mom & dad - back together and blazing a trail ahead of me."
She is receiving the transplant from her sister Sally-Ann Roberts as part of her treatment for the blood disorder Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) which she developed after undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
"The start of last week went well but the daily chemo/treatment caught up to me by the weekend. My body is so weak but not my mind. YOU give me the courage to keep going," she blogged yesterday.
"So today is my last day of chemo... Wednesday is called a day of rest, yay, right! The transplant is scheduled for Thursday morning.

Roberts left the morning show Aug. 30 - one day earlier than planned due to the serious condition of her mother Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts, 88. She was able to make it to Mississippi, through a hurricane, in time to say goodbye to her mother who died that evening.
Roberts' physician, Dr. Gail Roboz, is scheduled to appear on Thursday's "Good Morning Oklahoma" to provide an update on her condition, according to the blog.
"Good Morning America" airs at 7-9 a.m. weekdays on ABC, channel 8.
