This week, anyone who signs up to donate blood at the American Red Cross' Tulsa donation center, 10151 E. 11th St., will receive a $25 gift card to Restaurant.com, which they can redeem for any deal on the website.

National Dine Out Week, launched by Restaurant.com, goes on through April 29. It aims to celebrate dining out and dining local, while helping to save lives, according to a press release from the Red Cross.

Restaurant.com, in an effort to support local restaurants, will also make a donation to the Red Cross every time consumers purchase a Restaurant.com gift certificate for use at a neighborhood favorite, visit a local restaurant and share their dining experience during National Dine Out Week with Restaurant.com, share National Dine Out Week with friends on Facebook, tweet about local dining plans during National Dine Out Week using #DineLocal, or text DINELOCAL to 78166.

The Tulsa donation center is open Monday through Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The promotion also applies to some of the blood drives going on throughout the city this week. A list of blood drives is available on www.redcrossblood.org.
