The Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Foundation is sponsoring "Oklahoma Spay Day" to raise money for the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association's Pet Overpopulation Fund.

OVMF asks all Oklahoma veterinarians to provide spay and neuter services to at least one client who will donate the cost of a spay or neuter to the Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association's Pet Overpopulation Fund.

This is how it works:

1. The donation is made to Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Association's Pet Overpopulation Fund.

2. The online form or a paper form available at participating vet offices, is filled out and returned to the sponsoring vet.

3. The sponsoring vet will then provide you, the donor, a spay or neuter service. You may also donate the service to someone in need.

4. The donations will be sent to Oklahoma Veterinary Medical Foundation, and you will receive a receipt for your tax deductible donation.

For more information or to complete a form, visit okvma.org and contact your local vet to see if it is participating.
