While the world is still mourning the loss of Whitney Houston, the folks at Glee are talking about a sad, but well-timed coincidence.

Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes, will sing "I Will Always Love You" as part of tomorrow's episode, called "Valentine's Day."

Filmed weeks ago, producers are going to dedicate the episode to the music icon, featuring her in the end credits. The show airs at 7 p.m. Tuesday, on Fox channel 23, cable 5.

"We chose to do the song and [Glee co-creator] Ryan Murphy chose to do the song to honor one of the great hits of all time," Glee music supervisor P.J. Bloom said, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

"Obviously we could not predict the unfortunately circumstances that happened this weekend but at the same time instead of focusing on the dark stuff, it's nice to have an opportunity to hear her in this way and celebrate the magic that Whitney brought to this industry."

Meanwhile, viewers of NBC's new Broadway-themed show, Smash will hear a familiar song on tonight's episode, "The Callback," from Oklahoma singer Carrie Underwood.

Broadway star Megan Hilty, who plays the ambitious Ivy on the show, will cover "Crazy Dreams," which was co-written by Underwood for her second album, "Carnival Ride."

Smash" airs at 9 p.m. Monday on NBC, channel 2, cable 9.

Hilty is a dynamo on the show, and after watching a sneak peek, she does more than justice to this song.

So, have you all seen Smash? What's your verdict?
