It's red carpet time, once again.
Sunday's Grammy Awards, to air at 7 p.m. on CBS, promises to show what fashion fans love and loathe: Pop stars gone wild.
This is the one night of the year when rock star chic goes a little bananas in many cases.
But, hey, it's certainly not boring.
Some of my favorite Grammy red carpet looks over the years have been in the over-the-top category. Namely, Lady Gaga's sparkly Armani creation from back in 2010 -- which to this day is my favorite of her looks. Period.
Then there's the lovely Carrie Underwood, who sparkles in glamorous gowns at most every event she attends. But even the typically conservative Underwood takes a cue from the Grammys and makes a splash with a wild print now and then.
Rihanna turned heads last year at on the carpet with a peekaboo, furry white Jean Paul Gaultier gown. Not my favorite, but still interesting.
And finally there's another red carpet attention-grabber, Nicki Minaj. Last year she was literally wild, with a head-to-toe animal print in Givenchy.
I'll have all the dish on this year's fashion in next week's
Scene section.
Whose Grammy get up are you most looking forward to this year?
