I'm a Bravo-holic, yes it's true. Did you see that horrific "all-stars" show last night? Can we say screaming
Housewives from hell?
Yikes.
Still, I'm not ashamed to admit that I know waaaaay too much about certain ladies who lunch, so there's no guilt here.
That's why the part of my brain quickly turning to mush, was instantly turned on to the latest Bravo scheduling news.
They are still mum on
Housewives pickups (please, please keep Bev Hills another season!), but they did announce some notable pickups, such as
Top Chef Masters,
Roble and Co. and
Tabatha Takes Over.
But it was the new shows that really caught my eye.
First up, adorable kitties, of course. The new show's working title is
Huh?, and it will feature the creators of Cheezburger Inc. -- as in the wonderful lunchtime browsing sites
Icanhascheezburger and
FailBlog .
It will be interesting to see the creative process behind those sites, right? I've always wondered who makes the Russian blue cat (that looks
exactly like my cat, Harriet), so darn funny and cute.
Even though their contracts are still being negotiated, some Housewives are locked down:
SUR will follow
RH of Bev Hills charmer, Lisa Vanderpump, and her posh restaurant in sunny LA. I wonder how many dishes she washes? Answer: "None, dah-ling."
And "The Kandi Factory," will follow
RH of Atlanta housewife and music mogul, Kandi Burruss, as she develops musical talent in Atlanta. Hope she keeps fellow Housewives off of her call sheet .. enough with the songs already, ladies!
And
Top Chef fans like myself can find out what happened to their fave chefs for a new show called
Life After Top Chef, which follows four former contestants, Jen Carroll (yes!), Richard Blais (yes, yes!), Fabio Viviani (eye roll), and Spike Mendelsohn (so-so, but cusses a lot, so that will be funny.)
