For moviegoers hoping to attend “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” next Wednesday, and planning to do so in a really big way on the Imax screen at Cinemark Tulsa: Abandon that notion now.
The new Harry-at-Hogwarts picture is opening on Wednesday at practically every theater in town, including Cinemark. But shape-changing robots are keeping Dumbledore and Voldemort at bay for two weeks nationwide.
As Imax made a five-week commitment to “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen,” the debut of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” in the giant-screen format is July 29.
