I just received word from the awesome Muriel Hakim of McNellie's Group that the second Harvest Beer Festival is going to be held Sept. 24 with some 20 breweries taking part.
Elgin Avenue between First Street and the railroad tracks will be shut down, and tents will be set up for breweries and their representatives.
Among the brewers expected to attend are Abita, Battered Bear, Big Sky, Boulevard, Bridgeport, Caldera, Choc, Coop, Flying Dog, FOAM (Fellowship of Oklahoma Ale Makers), Franconia, Hueberts, Left Hand, Leinenkugal, Marshall, Mustang, Red Hook, Redbud, Rogue, Santa Fe, Shiner, Sierra Nevada, Tall Grass and Widmer.
We will have all of the details just prior to the event in either the Scene or Weekend section of the Tulsa World.
