It was officially announced this week that Stephen Egerton of The Descendents and All will release a new solo studio album on May 11 via Paper + Plastick Records.

"The Seven Degrees of Stephen Egerton" features vocals from more than a dozen guests, including members of The Descendents, All, Alkaline Trio, MxPx, Less Than Jake, Lagwagon, The Fags, Drag The River, John Moreland, Euclid Crash and more, Egerton confirmed to the Tulsa World.

The release shows will be May 14 at the Conservatory in Oklahoma City, and May 15 at the Crystal Pistol in Tulsa. (I will meet and interview Egerton next week in his Tulsa studio. Look for that story closer to the official album release date!)

Alternative Press music magazine is exclusively streaming the first track, "Our Last Song," from the upcoming studio album at its Web site. It features vocals from Dan Andriano of Alkaline Trio.
