Be a part of the Stamp Out Hunger food drive on Saturday by leaving some nonperishable food at your mailbox.

Mail carriers will pick up the donations during their routes. Items donated in Tulsa will then be delivered to the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. Food collected outside of the Tulsa metro area will stay in those areas.

Items needed include low-sodium canned vegetables and canned meats, such as chicken and tuna.

Area Reasor’s stores are selling prepackaged bags of groceries ready for donation for $15. The bags include cereal, peanut butter, jelly, rice, canned beans, fruits, soups, macaroni and cheese, and canned tuna.
