We have your chance to win tickets to see former Tulsan David Cook at his gig Sept. 22.

Cook rose to prominence after winning the seventh season of American Idol. He grew up in Houston and Kansas City, but cut his musical teeth right here in Tulsa.

Here’s what you need to do to win. It’s almost too easy. Just go to tulsaworld.com/scenefb or tulsaworld.com/twfacebook and will like the page (because you like us anyway, right?), then click share on the giveaway announcement. Taa daa you’re entered to win.

We will be giving away three pairs of tickets to the Sept. 22 show at Cain’s Ballroom, 423 N. Main St. Doors to the all-ages show open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8. Caroline Glaser is set to open the show.

Cook’s rock style was a favorite on the talent show in 2008 and has helped him steadily grow in popularity since then. Cook now lives in Nashville and has released three studio albums, two since winning American Idol. His latest single, “Laying Me Low,” was released in April.
