Friday's Kiefer at Depew game has an interesting storyline as Class A No. 4 Kiefer will try to extend its shutout streak to five games. The Trojans are the only 11-man team not to have allowed a point this season.

Another interesting storyline from the game is that Kiefer standout defensive end Carlos Capehart and Depew standout lineman Slade Murrell are cousins and could be matched up against each other.

Those aren't the only family ties: Kiefer assistant Zac Wenzel is the newphew of Murrell's mother (Monica Murrell-Simmons). Slade Murrell's grandmother, Mary, is Kiefer's superintendent...

Below are some interesting facts and figures compiled by World sports writer Mark Foster:

In 6A, 5A, and 4A, the first week of district play could almost be renamed "blowout week." In five districts, every game was decided by 15 or more points -- 6A-2, 6A-3, 6A-4, 5A-3, and 4A-3. In fact, 96 of the 126 district games played among 11-man teams this weekend were decided by 15 or more points.

Only three games in Class 6A were decided by fewer than 15 points, and all three games involved teams in 6A-1.

A look at undefeated teams....

Not one independent team is left among the 60 undefeated teams in Oklahoma.

Of the 60 undefeated teams remaining, Summit Christian has given up the most points (115). In second place is Madill (91).

Of those teams, Bristow has scored the fewest points (93). In second place is Sand Springs (110).

Of those teams, Sand Springs has the lowest point differential, having defeated teams by an average of 11.8 points per game. In second is Cleveland at 12.5. Vian has the highest point differential (57.3), while Tipton is second (49.5).

Six undefeated teams have yet to play a district game -- Tuttle (3A-1), Bristow (3A-2), OKC Millwood (2A-2), Wynnewood (A-5), Savanna (A-6), and Kiefer (A-7). Wynnewood is the only one of those teams that is 3-0 after taking a bye in Week 4.
