Today's word, class, is hydroponic.
According to Wikipedia, hydroponics "is a method of growing plants using mineral nutrient solutions, in water, without soil." Memorize that; there may be a quiz later.
For those like me not in the hydroponic know, the lovely Enid Strain will host a hydroponic class for beginners at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at her Urban Garden store, 3141 E. 15th St.
The class is $10 and limited to 15 people, Enid told me. Students will also get "a sweet swag bag of samples."
To reserve your spot, call Urban Garden, 918-289-0018.
Peace, love and nutrients ... XOXO
