Jessica Sanchez, runnerup on this season's "American Idol," is reportedly close to signing a deal to appear in multiple episodes of "Glee."
Sanchez, who was an early front runner on "Idol" season 11, will most likely join the series midseason, reported tvline.com Thursday.
The website said there were no details available about her character but that she will join veteran actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson who have also agreed to appear in multi-episode story arcs on the fourth season of the popular musical series.
Next fall, "Glee" will be paired with "Idol" in Thursday’s Fox lineup.
Speculation is that the 16-year-old Californian will join production of the show following this summer's "Idols Live" concert tour.
