I received this tip from reader Sue Clifton about a good alternative if you drive to Meers for one of its famous burgers and the line is longer than you want to endure.
She suggests going to Ann's Country Kitchen just down the road at 26020 Oklahoma highway 58.
"We got burgers, and they were awesome," wrote Clifton. "Mine was delicious, and my husband got a double meat and it was gigantic. Taste was good, too.
"We had eaten at Ann's one other time during a spring break trip with a group of 15, and all of (Ann's) food was good -- with homemade pies and rolls."
Sounds like a two-day trip to the Meers area to me, at the least.
