Usually, I'm fairly flip about celebrity baby news.

I love me some Suri Cruise, and every single member of Brangelina's tiny brood, but this celebrity baby bonanza is getting out of control.

I'm so over cover stories in tabloids about Tori Spelling's "surprise" baby No. 17.

I know that some celebs make a living off of procreating. Yuck.

That's why this news, about E! anchor Giuliana Rancic and her Apprentice-winning hubby, Bill, is welcome. The couple is finally expecting a baby, through a "gestational surrogate," meaning it's their baby, it's just being carried by another woman.

An ardent red carpet worshiper, I've been a fan of G's for some time, but since she announced her breast cancer last fall, I've been following her travails... including their baby quest.

I'm genuinely touched by a reality TV couple. I know, I know.

But I think they are the most sincere. They are open and honest about their struggles with everything, including cancer, and I think people have learned a lot about the journey. Myself included.

Plus, G has really pretty hair.

Here's their announcement on the Today show this morning:
