in his first Rap-Up vlog, Randy Jerkins is already stirring up shock. The Grammy Award-winning R&B producer has revealed this week that icon Janet Jackson has severed ties with her label Def Jam Records.
The story goes on to say ... VIBE.com reached out to Def Jam, and received a statement confirming the split. “At her request, the record label has agreed to dissolve their working relationship with the popular artist,” the statement read.

Jackson is scheduled to perform at Tulsa's BOK Center on Oct. 26 with opener LL Cool J. Last week, the ticket on-sale date for that show was postponed. They were originally supposed to go on sale last Friday. I will update this with more info as I get it.
