Jimmy John's, a gourmet sandwich chain that put its first Tulsa restaurant at 19th Street and Yale Avenue a year ago, soon will have locations in Brookside and Broken Arrow.
The Broken Arrow store will be operated by the current Tulsa franchisee and will be located in a former Blockbuster store at 71st Street (Kenosha Street) and 145th East Avenue (Aspen Avenue). It is expected to open in about a month.
The Brookside store, operated by a different franchisee, will be at 36th Street and Peoria Avenue, also in a former Blockbuster store. I could not determine a target date for its opening.
