Junior-college transfer Kirby Gardner has officially been added to the Oklahoma State basketball roster.
Gardner, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound guard, is from Rialto, Calif., and spent the past two years at San Bernardino Valley College. Last season, he averaged 17.2 points per game and led the team in assists and 3-pointers.
Gardner was named MVP of the Foothill Conference and helped the Wolverines capture a third straight conference title.
The addition of Gardner will boost the Cowboys' bench. Despite last week's departure of point guard Cezar Guerrero, there are six true guards on the team, and Travis Ford said several walk-ons will be added for depth.
