To the disappointment of ginger fans everywhere, actress Karen Gillan unveiled a new look at Comic-Con: bald and beautiful.
The actress known for playing "Doctor Who" companion Amy Pond has shorn her trademark ginger locks to play Nebula in Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy."
Gillan was sporting her usual hairstyle earlier at the San Diego convention, saving the big reveal for when it would make the most impact. During the Marvel panel Saturday at Comic-Con, she was asked "Isn't Nebula bald?" so she whipped off a red wig, saying "I may have done something a little crazy."

I'm looking forward to seeing Gillan take on a bad-girl role for the film set to come out late summer 2014. It'll be great to see her opposite
