Rachel (Lea Michele) takes a dance class at NYADA in the season four premiere of "Glee," airing at 8 p.m. Thursday on Fox, channel 23 cable 5. ADAM ROSE/Fox

Lookout: The song of the summer is intruding into fall.

Carly Rae Jepsen's hit "Call Me Maybe," which has been parioded by everyone from the U.S. Olympics swim team to President Barack Obama, is one of the songs in featured in a new season of "Glee."

And life is not the same for Rachel in New York with teacher Cassandra (Kate Hudson) refusing to put her up on that same pedestal she enjoyed in high school. Rachel may not have Finn to comfort her but she does have a hot classmate (Dean Geyer) at NYADA.

Back home in Lima, Ohio, there's a new head cheerleader, a baby, Kurt still hanging around at school and several new members of New Directions. The slushies are still flying and even the veteran glee club members are getting a bit of an attitude this season.

So who will be the star in the group? Blaine (Darren Criss), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Brittany (Heather Morris) and Unique (Alex Newell) compete in the "Call Me Maybe" number. And then catch Hudson's performance in the second video.

The new season of "Glee" launches at 8 p.m. Thursday on its new day and time on Fox, channel 23, cable 5.

Here's Kate Hudson in the "Americano/Dance Again" number on "Glee."
