Katie Holmes isn’t wasting any time moving on and moving forward after the announcement of her split from
Tom Cruise last month.
According to
People magazine, the “Dawson’s Creek” actress has begun production on “Molly,” a film about a single mother and her daughter, which Holmes is said to have co-produced and co-wrote. Filming of the movie, set in New York City, is scheduled to go until about August, the magazine reports.
And not too long after, Holmes starts work on “Responsible Adults,” a romantic comedy about a man who discovers his current crush is his babysitter from more than a decade earlier.
The magazine said Holmes is also planning for her first-ever show of her clothing line Holmes & Yang at New York’s Fashion Week this fall.
People reports Holmes and Cruise have reached a divorce settlement after Holmes filed for divorce less than two weeks ago.
Said Holmes' attorney Jonathan Wolfe to the magazine: "The case has been settled and the agreement has been signed. We are thrilled for Katie and her family and are excited to watch as she embarks on the next chapter of her life." No word yet on the details of the settlement.
