Kendall-Whittier Elementary School is partnering with the Tulsa Area Community Schools Initiative to host a “pancake tailgate” from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday inside the Kendall-Whittier Elementary School, 2601 E. Fifth Place.

The menu will feature pancakes and other popular breakfast items. Cost is $2 per person or no more than $10 per family.

The event concludes a six-week Chef’s Club course designed to teach culinary basics to Kendall-Whittier students. Through their involvement in tailgate preparations, students learned how to plan and organize an event.

The breakfast event coincides with TU's final home football game of the season against UCF. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m.
