Wayne Kramer, the controversial frontman of
DKT (formerly of
MC5), has written a controversial song about the controversial case of
Pat Tillman, the Arizona linebacker killed by friendly fire in Afghanistan in 2004. Allegedly, Tillman was the first professional football player to be killed in combat since the death of Bob Kalsu of the Buffalo Bills, who died in the Vietnam War in 1970. It was initially reported that Tillman died from hostile fire, and his father has claimed the truth about what happened to his son a "cover up" .
The song's called "All Been Planned."
