Kings of Leon will be honored with a star on the
Nasville Walk of Fame this week. The walk is a little brother of sorts to the much larger Hollywood Walk of Fame.
KoL will get the 61st star in a ceremony Friday in Nashville.
In Hollywood, Norman-born
Vince Gill got his star (the walk’s 2,478th star) on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was joined by wife Amy Grant and friend Reba McEntire Sept. 6 near the Hard Rock Cafe — but even closer to wife Grant’s star.
Also, country group
Rascal Flatts, featuring Picher native Joe Don Rooney, dedicated their Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday morning. Rascal Flatts is the most awarded vocal group in country music today with over 40 trophies from the American Country Awards, American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music Awards, Country Music Association Awards, People's Choice and more.
