La Madeleine Country French Café, is introducing a new entrée, salmon and French lentils, to its Smart Choices menu.
A roasted salmon fillet is paired with French lentils and seasoned with celery, thyme, kale, tomatoes, onions and roasted garlic.
The dish costs $9.99 and is available through March 19.
La Madeleine offers more than 15 Smart Choices selections, each with 600 calories, year-round. Favorites include chicken la Madeleine, Mediterranean paella, shrimp and tilapia Provencal and tilapia rustique.
La Madeleine also has added new items to its breakfast and dessert menus for 2013. They are Eggs Benedict Normandy ($7.49) and mini chocolate almond tart ($1.79).
The breakfast dish includes two poached eggs with roasted red and yellow tomatoes and crisp bacon served with hollandaise sauce on a flaky croissant.
The salmon dish and tart are available through March 19.
