So what really happened when Lindsay Lohan crashed her Porsche into a dump truck on Friday?

Well, from what TMZ reports, perhaps a lot more, with the driver of the dump truck claiming one of Lohan’s people allegedly attempted to bribe him into not calling the cops.

“The guy took me across the street and told me this was some kind of famous person and they didn’t want to be in the media. But I’d already called 911 because they were trying to get away from the scene,” the driver told TMZ. The driver, referred to as James, said he has hired a lawyer due to the injuries he said he sustained in the accident.

Lohan rep Steve Honig’s reply: The guy was just looking to cash in where he could.

Lohan has previously told friends that faulty brakes were to blame for the accident.

Those 'Jersey Shore' girls are at again!

‘Blast in a Glass’ Deena Cortese of the hit MTV reality show has been released from jail after getting arrested in Seaside Heights, N.J. on a disorderly conduct charge, Sunday.

As reported by E! News, Deena walked out of a bar by herself and started to dance in traffic.

Okaay.

And an unidentified driver attempted to drive around her and she wouldn't let him pass, a detective told E! News.

Nope, not surprising.

One of the good choices Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola made was, in the latter episodes of JS, letting the meatballs (what Snooki and Deena call each other) hang on their own together. They are a force to be reckoned with!

Deena was the second to last person I expected to have a run-in with the law but this isn’t surprising. I mean if you’ve caught the show, that Jersey turnpikin’ young woman is no Laid-back Leondra (yes, I just made that up).

So JWoww (Jenni Farley) being on crutches after her reported involvement in a bar brawl? Not surprising. Jenni doesn’t play.

And this ongoing story about some pre-pregnancy nude photos of Snooki (Nicole Polizzi) that were leaked? Ok, a little bit surprising but then I have to remember some of the mess I’ve seen her get into on the 'Shore'.

Switching to happy news: Weddings! Weddings! Weddings!

Actor Matthew McConaughey and model and designer Camila Alves finally tied the knot after six years and two children together. The couple, McConaughey, 42, and Alves, 29, were engaged Christmas Day before family and friends, People said, and married Saturday.

According to People, the main event, part of a three-day affair in Austin, Texas was a sunset ceremony with the groom wearing a Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo and Alves in white Stuart Weitzman heels and a wedding gown handmade by a favorite Brazilian designer.

Ah, such a beautiful couple. So glad they got married.

Then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage
(wondering if that is still a culturally-relevant playground song…Kissing in a tree? Kids still climb trees??)

A recent issue of People also features former Olympic gymnast Kerri Strug with her first son Tyler William who was born March 1. Strug married attorney Robert Fischer III two years ago.

“I understand it now, the immediate love. And there’s a willingness to put your child in front of everything else no matter what, under any circumstance,” Strug told the magazine. http://bit.ly/Mr2Tj4

Strug won the gold medal for an unforgettable vault during the 1996 Olympics.

Be back soon.
