CBS has canceled its new dating reality series "3" after airing two episodes. SONJA FLEMMING/CBS

Another two bite the dust.

CBS announced Tuesday it was yanking its new dating reality series "3" from its schedule because of poor ratings.

The series was to follow three women as they searched for love but apparently all the viewer love went to NBC's Olympic coverage which crushed the CBS show and all other programming.

"3" debuted July 27 with the lowed rating the network has ever had for a new series, according to deadline.com, and it fell another 38 percent in its second showing. Repeats of dramas will fill the 8 p.m. Sunday time slot until fall, according to the network.

That cancellation came on the heels of ABC pulling the Fred Willard-hosted show "Trust Us With Your Life" after just two weeks. Both July 24 episodes of the comedy improv biography series, which aired back to back, were down 33 percent from the previous week, making it "ABC's lowest rated telecast of the summer," according to the website. The network is replacing the limited run series with "Wipeout" rebroadcasts.

The move occurred two weeks after the veteran actor-comedian was arrested for alleged lewd conduct July 18 in West Hollywood but "insiders insist that the two incidents aren't related," reported deadline.com.

PBS also allegedly let Willard go as the narrator of its "Market Warriors" after the arrest and replaced him with "Antiques Roadshow" host Mark Walberg, according to the website.

"His circumstances would have become a distraction to the series," PBS president and Chief Operating officer Paula Kerger reportedly told media attending the the Television Critics Association Your in Los Angeles.

Willard's attorney recently told Fox News "Fred did nothing in any violation of any law. We will be working vigorously to clear his name."
