Tulsa International Mayfest is accepting submissions for the Mayfest Green Gallery, which will have the theme "Metamorphosis," through April 30.

This year's gallery seeks innovative and exciting art and craft that has
been transformed from every day, recognizable materials that have been reused, repurposed and recycled.

Artists are required to write a short description of the origins and uses of their materials.

This is a juried show and awards will be given for Best Use of Material, Best in Show, and Juror's Choice.

The Green Gallery will be on display in the Park Centre building at Sixth Street and Main Street during Mayfest, which will take place May 17-20.

The Green Gallery is sponsored by Waste Management and was inspired by Mayfest's move toward making it a more sustainable festival.

All submissions must be done via email. Put "Mayfest Green Gallery Submission" as the subject and provide artist name, phone number, email, title, media and price (if applicable) in the body of the email with each submission. Then, attach the image of your artwork to the email, no larger than 1 MB, and send to:

greengallery@tulsamayfest.org.

Please limit your submissions to two works, one per email. Also, because of limited display space, contact
greengallery@tulsamayfest.org if you have questions about the suitability of a given artwork's size and weight.

Artists whose work is selected will be notified by email by May 2.
