Modern Dog magazine,
Miranda Lambert talks about her guest role on
Law and Order SVU, growing up with music and, of course, her affinity for pets.
When asked whether her love for animals was fostered in her home as a child, the Texas native says that just like music, animals have always been been a part of her life.
"We have never been without pets. Thankfully, I'll never have to experience that [because I'm] just like my parents, who always had an open door policy; I feel the same about dogs and animals," Lambert tells the magazine.
Lambert, who has six rescue dogs, says, "If any animal needs a place, [they] can stay here.
