Opening this Friday:

"Bruno" is the new movie from Sacha Baron Cohen, as the "Borat" brat agains revives a character first created for the public on his HBO program "Da Ali G Show." So who's Bruno? He's a gay Austrian fashionista determined to find fame, which puts Cohen invading all manner of real-life situations for the purpose of creating a scene. Half of the theaters in the Tulsa area aren't playing it, but you can find it at Promenade, Cinemark Tulsa, Starworld 20, RiverWalk and in Owasso.

"I Love You Beth Cooper" is a more traditional picture, a teen romantic comedy. Hayden Panitierre ("Heroes") plays the hottest girl in high school, who decides to show a nerdy guy the night of his life after he proclaims his love for her during a graduation speech.

"Moon" is a cool, old-school sci-fi thriller starring Sam Rockwell as a man working three years on the moon alone who's ready to go home and leave behind his robot friend (voiced by Kevin Spacey). At the AMC Southroads 20 only.

"Every Little Step" is a documentary look at the conception of the musical smash "A Chorus Line" from its 1970s origins, as well as a behind-the-scenes peek at auditions for the 2006 revival of the show. Also at AMC Southroads 20 exclusively.

What's new at the discount house on Friday:

Three new dollar movies open at both Movies 8 and Supersaver Cinema this Friday: "Drag Me to Hell" is a hilarious horror flick from filmmaker Sam Raimi; "Land of the Lost" is the Will Ferrell dinosaur movie, which lasted only five weeks in the major theaters; and "Dance Flick" is the Wayans family comedy troupe's spoof of pictures like "Step Up" and "Save the Last Dance for Me."

Movies 8 fills its schedules with two other movies new to the discount house: "Earth," the Disney-goes-back-to-nature documentary about animals and climate change, and "The Brothers Bloom," the con men caper with Adrien Brody, Mark Ruffalo and Rachel Weisz, from the director of "Brick."
