Peter Huwiler, owner of Napa Station Winery, will host a dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Local Table, 4329 S. Peoria Ave.
Huwiler, a native of Switzerland, is former CEO of Merryvale Winery before launching Napa Station, which is family run and sustainably farmed. He also is an accomplished chef.
The menu will include warm squid salad with spinach, chorizo and black olives; seared scallop on spinach with apple brandy cream sauce; Mediterranean baklava; salt and spice-roasted pork belly with caramelized peanut and chili dressing, and gingered pear and raspberry pandowdy.
Huwiler will be serving Napa Station's sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, merlot and cabernet sauvignon.
