Hanson
I just got word from Tulsa pop icon
Hanson's publicist,
Ken Phillips, that the brothers will take a break this spring to return to the studio.
He said the act plans to release the album later this year. It will be the first full album released since 2007's "The Walk," from the trio's own record label, 3CG Records.
The three brothers have moved the offices for their feisty indie music empire to downtown Tulsa. “We’re never leaving Tulsa,” said Taylor Hanson in March.
Hanson’s first performance was in 1992 at Mayfest (brother Zac was 6 years old), and the band has since gone on to release the popular songs "MMMBop," "Great Divide," "Penny & Me" and more.
