What the Tulsa-Okahoma State scoreboard said last season is not what you want it to say! The scoreboard reads: "The NWS has advised TU of severe weather in the area. Please seek shelter on the concourse, the Donald W. Reynolds Center or your vehicle." TOM GILBERT/Tulsa World File
Three college football games, two in-state, one in Arizona.
Let's check out their weather forecasts!
Tulsa hosting Tulane, 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Chapman Stadium in Tulsa
Tulsa's rain chances have shifted all over the place this week, at one point as early as Thursday (didn't happen), as late as Saturday (no longer forecast) and now chances are dwindling for today.
Right now, the forecast is mid-70s and sunny skies, with north winds up to 15 mph.
Rain is expected before 1 a.m. Saturday. But, you just never know.
Oklahoma State @ Arizona, 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Tucson, Arizona
Like Tulsa, Stillwater also has rain chances today. Also like Tulsa, those rain chances are expected mostly before 1 a.m. Saturday.
Thus, by Saturday night, football fans can expect clear skies, lows in the 50s and calmer winds.
However, as several football fans pointed out to me earlier today, this game is in Tucson, Arizona!
Saturday's night forecast in Tucson calls for a 40 percent chance of rain and scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11 p.m. Arizona time. Mostly cloudy skies and southeast winds up to 11 mph are also forecast.
Temperatures are expected to reach the 90s during the day, and dip to the 70s at night.
OU hosting Florida A&M, 6 p.m. Saturday at Oklahoma Memorial Stadium in Norman
Rain chances Friday, which are expected to be finished by around 1 a.m. Saturday.
Then, sunny skies and highs in the 80s Saturday afternoon, but wind gusts reaching over 20 mph.
But, a clear night, with lows in the mid-50s and winds calming in the evening.
Overall? Should be a good day for football in the state of Oklahoma. In Arizona? Watch out for some rain Saturday.
Have a good weekend!
