High winds for Tulsa's game this weekend? Maybe not as high as Sept. 17's game last season with OSU and Tulsa. MIKE SIMONS/Tulsa World File
Oklahoma State is having a bye week, but OU and Tulsa aren't! Here's their football forecasts for this weekend:
OU hosting Kansas State: 6:50 p.m. Saturday in Norman
Prepare for a cool, almost cold night.
The weather service forecasts a mostly sunny but "not as warm" afternoon Saturday, with higsh in the mid-80s and 10-20 mph northeast winds.
By Saturday night, the winds are expected to calm a bit to 10-15 mph, but lows are forecast for the upper 40s. Brr!
Tulsa hosting Fresno State, 7 p.m. Saturday in Tulsa
Beware the high winds.
Both Saturday during the day and at night, wind gusts are forecast up to 20 mph.
However, it should be a pretty nice day for football otherwise, with highs in the low-80s in the afternoon and lows in the low-50s at night.
Have a good weekend!
