For those keeping track, the Tulsans on the list include the Tulsa World's own Gene Curtis for his "Only in Oklahoma" collection of columns written for the Tulsa World during the Oklahoma Centennial year; P.C. and Kristin Cast, whose first novel in their "House of Night" series of young adult paranormal romantic thrillers won the award last year; Kim Doner, up for two awards this year in Children's Literature and Design/Illustration for her "On a Road in Africa"; Carl Brune and Kandy Radzinski, both up for the Design/Illustration Award, and both previous winners; two-time OBA winner Billie Letts, and Broken Arrow's Will Thomas, also a previous winner of this award.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony in Oklahoma City Aprl 4.
