Country music star Carrie Underwood is taping episodes of "VH1 Unplugged" and "VH1 Behind the Music" to air this fall.
The Grammy-winning native of Checotah made the announcement on VH1's "Big Morning Buzz Live" show this morning.
"I'm excited," said the "American Idol" winner, adding she's a little nervous, too, about being "Unplugged," according to VH1.com.
"It's really cool to have it really be all about the songs and the music and to just get and go and sing," she said on the show. "It doesn't need all the extra stuff sometimes."
The multi-award winner also said she’s also hopeful that she won’t be too "boring" for “Behind the Music."
"I hope mine's not seriously boring, because I've had such a wonderful life, and it just seems like everything has really happened … and now I get to do the most wonderful job ever."
Underwood tapes her "Unplugged" this week in New York. It will stream online at 3 p.m. Oct. 2 on VH1.com and air at 6 p.m. on cable channel 64 and will feature songs from her album "Blown Away" and past music. She will be profiled on "Behind the Music" sometime in the fall, reported the website.
