Think you're seeing smartphones everywhere? Believe it or not, we're actually lagging behind a bunch of countries in smartphone usage.

Statistica put together a chart of the top countries with smartphone use per capita. And while the United States weighed in at a hefty-sounding 56.4 percent, that just got us the 13th spot.

The world leader is, of all places, the United Arab Emirates at 73.8 percent.

according to the Korea Times.
