Miranda Lambert and
Blake Shelton are
not having a baby.
Contrary to a recent “bait-and-switch” story headline on the cover of the recent
Life & Style magazine that shouted “We’re having a baby!” ... Nothing could be further than the truth, the couple said.
As they’ve said many, many times recently, they want kids — some day. The magazine waits until readers are inside its cover to repeat what the couple keeps repeating.
After the Life & Style cover hit the racks -- and the internet -- the couple quickly took to Twitter to slam the magazine.
Shelton, always the joker, said, “Look, I know I’ve gained some weight but the test was negative!!!”
He also tweeted: “Hope not.. She’s (Lambert) passed out with a bottle of Bacardi in her hands!!!”
Lambert also got in on the good-natured ribbing.
“Wow! I just read the headline! ‘we are having a baby’ yay! @blakeshelton we’re getting a new puppy?:),” she wrote.
“Don’t believe everything you read! I’m having a big ‘randarita’ right now In honor of the baby we are not yet having! #Sorryfolksparksclosed.”
