The fifth anniversary of the Rock 'N Rib Festival kicks off this week featuring four days of championship BBQ from six of America's award-winning pitmasters.

But, there's more!

The festival also features cooking demonstrations, live entertainment on the ONEOK Stage, football on the JumboTron, a Kids Zone Saturday and Sunday and concessions.

For more information on Rock 'N Rib Festival, and some of Tulsa's barbecue specialties, check out the WEEKEND magazine on Thursday.

6 p.m. - Donna Rice, Desperado's BBQ - Secrets of a "Pit-Mistress"
7 p.m. - Pat Nelson, Big Boned BBQ - How to Prepare Award-Winning Ribs

Friday
6 p.m. - Gary Carrino, Porky 'N' Beans - How to Prepare Beef Short Ribs
7 p.m. - Chef Devin Levine, BOK Center - Creating the Perfect Sides
8 p.m - Dan Johnson, Johnson's BBQ - Secrets of the Sauce

Saturday
12 p.m. - Jon Apelt, Chicago BBQ - How to Prepare Award-Winning Brisket
1 p.m - Mark Grant, Pork Chicks BBQ - BBQ Chicken Secrets
5 p.m. - Dan Johnson, Johnson's BBQ - The Colonel's Specialties
6 p.m. - Pat Nelson, Big Boned BBQ - Competition Secrets
7 p.m. - Gary Carrino, Porky 'N' Beans - Preparing Meat for the Smoker

Sunday
1 p.m. - Donna Rice, Desperado's BBQ - How to Prepare Award-Winning Pork

The festival runs from 11 a.m. - midnight Thursday and 11 a.m.- 3 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is free every day. Located outside the BOK Center, 3rd & Frisco Ave., downtown.
