The album cover for "Annie Up," due out May 7.
As the
Pistol Annies close in on the May 7 release date of their sophomore album, "
Annie Up," this week the band reveals the track list and album cover.
You can check out the cover reveal at the band's official website:
pistolannies.com.
The band, including Oklahoma's
Miranda Lambert with
Angaleena Presley, and
Ashley Monroe, recorded 12 tracks for the release. The first single, "Hush Hush," is about sweeping family secrets under the rug to maintain appearances.
Another tune, the confessional “Being Pretty Ain’t Pretty” dishes on the exhausting process women go through to get dressed every day. “You spend all this money for make-up and eyelashes and spray tanners just to wipe it all off at the end of the night,” said Lambert in a media statement.
With the release of the May 7 album, fans of vinyl music will also be able to "Annie Up" on record, too.
Lambert returns to Green Country to perform

BOK Center.
Dierks Bentley will open. Tickets start at $27, available at www.bokcenter.com, Arby's Box Office, all Tickets.com outlets, or by calling 1-866-7-BOKCTR.
